Seaglass Village is a community of neighbors in Marblehead, Swampscott & Nahant helping each other maintain dignity, independence, freedom & safety with the goal of aging in place. Seaglass Village provides a network of volunteers, referred vendors & friends who enjoy recreational, social, cultural & educational events. Volunteers are available to help with trips to the doctors, moving furniture, setting up the TV, troubleshooting the printer & the like. The Village is an innovative grassroots movement that began in 1999 when a group of older friends on Beacon Hill gathered to explore ways they could continue to live in their own homes & help each other stay healthy & socially active in their own communities.
