Free Hearing Screening

Free 15 Minute Hearing screenings are being provided by Atlantic Hearing Care on December 15, between 10 a.m. and noon.  Pre-registration is required.  Please call to make your appointment.

Foot Care

Through a partnership with Sanphy Podiatry, we have a visiting podiatrist at the Senior Center for routine foot care.  Appointments are billed through insurance and may be booked through the Senior Center.  Transportation is provided to Swampscott residents at no charge for these appointments.

Blood Pressure

Free, drop-in blood pressure checks are available to Senior Center members on Tuesdays at 12:00 pm and Thursdays at 10:30 am.  No appointments are needed, however calling the Center before coming is recommended to guarantee availability.

Flu Clinics

The Senior Center holds flu vaccine clinics regularly and will advertise these clinics through flyers, weekly news blasts, our website and our Newsletter.  Assistance is provided booking appointments and transportation for Swampscott residents may also be available depending on the time of appointment.

Nurses Hours

We are excited to announce that our Town Public Health nurse will be holding hours at the Senior Center!  Check in soon for more details on this program which is about to launch.

Salon SC

The Swampscott Senior Center’s hair salon features barber, Maureen Callahan and is open every other Tuesday.  Women’s haircuts are $15, and men’s haircuts are $10.  Payment is collected at the time of service and reservations are required.  Call the front desk to make an appointment (781) 596-8866.
