By the Sea Social Day is a fully staffed and supervised drop-off program for adults coping with early to middle stage dementia and cognitive decline.  This program is offered at the Swampscott Senior Center on Fridays from 10 am – 2pm.  Our program provides a person-centered, caring environment where clients engage in enriching activities, form friendships and have social outlets while also providing their caregivers with much needed respite.  Lunch is included in this program and the cost is $40 a day.

Our activities include current event discussions, exercise, art, cooking, games, Bocce, local trips and more.

Our proximity to Swampscott High School allows for many intergenerational interactions and opportunities such as participating in pop-up shops, gardening activities and engaging in art activities utilizing materials made for our program by Swampscott High School’s Advanced Manufacturing Program.
